Ready for knitting classes..?

I hope you’ve had a good summer and are feeling energetic and optimistic about September and all those lovely back-to-school vibes that are floating around. 

sone thoughts I’d like to share with you…

Whilst I've done my best to keep going with Knitting SOS, I haven't taught a proper, group knitting class since June 2019.  I sometimes wonder where the time went but I suppose that question is easily answered by cancer and the pandemic.

I'm very aware that going backwards in life isn't a thing...but in many ways I'm feeling as much myself as I'm ever going to feel post-cancer.  Also, with both the kids soon to be back to school (in the same place and the same hours!) I now feel like I can be looking to the future and thinking about what I want to do and what is possible.

One of the many upsetting things about cancer is that I had to stop teaching.  It's different for everyone, but I found the appointments and treatment to be a full time job, with any spare energy going to the kids.  But having built up my business, painstakingly, since 2004, it was pretty devastating to have to stop teaching (which I love) and writing (which I definitely didn't have the brain-power for).

So...I would like to start running group and one to one knitting classes again.  But I'm keen to gauge the interest in these.  I don't imagine you've all been  twiddling your thumbs waiting for me for three years and I am interested to know if in-person knitting classes is something you would like to do.

I'm freezing prices as they were in 2019:

Group (max 4/5 per class): £27 per person for a two hour session with everyone working at their own pace on their own projects.  These will initially run twice a month (one evening and one weekend) in E3 (exact location tbc) - I'll increase dates if there's more interest.

One to one: £77 for two hours.  My availibility is fairly flexible. Classes will be in E3.

Discounts: I'll be offering a bulk-booking discount if you'd like to pay in advance for 4 or more classes.
